THE ROHO® GROUP INTRODUCES MERLIN™ PROXIMITY SENSOR
BELLEVILLE, Ill., (November 19, 2008)– The ROHO Group, Inc., manufacturer of support surface products for medical applications recently introduced the Merlin Proximity Sensor. This new accessory for ROHO air inflated cushions is the first in a series of “Smart” technologies that will work with existing products to make people’s lives better.
The Merlin Proximity Sensor precisely and continually monitors the users ROHO cushion’s inflation level. The user positions the Merlin Proximity Sensor pad under their ROHO cushion and sets the correct point at which their ROHO cushion is properly adjusted. The Merlin then senses and notifies the user if the inflation level of the cushion has changed.
The Merlin is available in four different pads size that will accommodate a wide range of ROHO cushion sizes. The product carries a two year limited warranty; the battery carries a three year limited warranty.
