About Todd
In 1986, Todd had a motorcycle accident, sustaining a spinal cord injury at the cervical 5-6 level. Throughout and since his rehabilitation process, he experienced numerous frustrations with both the quality and functionality of equipment available for use by people dealing with a disabling condition. He began utilizing his prior knowledge of the bicycle/motorcycle industry to modify existing products, and design new products to more satisfactorily suit his need and desire to regain independence. As his designs progressed, he started ADI.
As an active quadriplegic, Todd set out to design a back support system that would be the lightest available and provide proper trunk stability and comfort needed for an active demanding lifestyle. The design of this product and the partnership with The ROHO Group has lead to the JetStream line of back support systems.
